I’m back, and you know it’s a big deal because I used 3 exclamation mark in the post title. I would have used a few more in that last sentence but you can never be too careful when it comes to the use/overuse of the exclamation mark. If you let it get out of control, the next thing you know there are emoticons and nonsensical text popping up all over the place. However, I wanted to make sure that you were aware of what level of excitement would be appropriate for you to be experiencing right now. 🙂 See, you got to be careful or that kind of thing sneaks in to writing. So I better tone it down a little.
It’s ok, you don’t have to laugh
If you didn’t LOL at that first paragraph, its ok this polar bear didn’t think it was funny either. I don’t really have an earth shattering revelations to offer today I simply wanted to let you know that I’m back, over the last year I have been blessed to be able to quit one of my part-time day jobs which has afforded me some opportunity to get back to doing the things I not only love and enjoy, but to which I feel called.
If I did have advice…
If I did have anything to share with you today it would be this, don’t give up! The last post I wrote for this blog, nearly a year ago, I said, it’s worth it and it is. I talked about how I would love to be able to meld my love for doing radio with my calling to ministry and it’s finally happened. I worked hard and God blessed my work and added to it more than I could ever have dreamed. Because of that, today is the first Monday in about 3 years when I didn’t have to get up at 4:30 in the morning in order to get to my job on time and earn a living. So, no matter how tough it gets or how dark the night becomes; remember, “Joy comes in the morning!”
So today I ask you this, what are you working toward? If you can’t answer that question I would say that would be a great place to start. Over the coming weeks I plan to get back on my regular schedule of posting twice a week to be published on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00am. I’d love it if you’d enter your email address on the home page so you can be notified of when those posts go live and we can journey toward our goals together.
