Have you seen the latest video of a poor defenseless black student who was minding his own business and was suddenly and brutally attacked by a white authority figure?  This kind of thing must be stopped!  This teacher should be fired immediately!  Oh wait,  It didn’t quite happen that way,  This is exactly why we cannot allow children in schools to disobey authority figures without fear of consequence.  Watch it here:

Had a student resource officer gotten involved in this situation and forcibly taken this student down it would have been a much different video. We’d all be watching it on every news channel across the board and expressing outrage while we call for the officer to be fired.  But because it doesn’t fit the liberal lies and propaganda, I doubt any of them will even mention it.

Whether liberals like it or not a healthy respect for authority, the rule of law, and order in society are necessary for said society to function effectively and maintain stability.  This isn’t a call for citizens to bow down before an oppressive and tyrannical police state.  It is actually quite the opposite.  In order to maintain the highest levels of freedom and liberty, citizens are required to adhere to certain societal standards.  The most obvious example, which most of us can relate to is traffic laws.  We all understand traffic signals, stop signs, and agreed upon right-of-way laws in no way restrict our freedom to move about our country.  In fact when we watch video of countries where there are limited traffic laws we are grateful for how smoothly traffic seems to move (most of the time of course) with the least risk of life and limb.  Our freedom to move about is actually enhanced because of an adherence to a recognized set of laws.

The same thing happened in this classroom.  One student’s freedom to do what ever he pleased was greatly increased as he was able to satisfy his own personal desires.  However the freedom of every other student to attend school in a safe environment and receive and education in that classroom was stolen.  The freedom of the teacher to go to work earn a living and possibly fulfill his desire to educate children and still go home healthy and without injury at the end of the day was also stolen.

You could even go one step further and make a fair assumption that this student probably faced some disciplinary action that further restricted his freedom and liberty to do as he pleased.  So in the end, because this one student refused to recognize the need for order and structure in society, no one’s freedom and/or liberty was increased or improved.  Instead the outcome was exactly the opposite, every other citizen in that classroom, including the perpetrator, had their liberties and freedoms and diminished.

Russel Kirk stated that the first “canon of conservative thought” is the “belief in a transcendent order or body of natural law that rules society as well as conscience.”  This must be recognized not as a way to subjugate citizens to tyranny but as a way to subjugate chaos and disorder to the enhancement of  liberty for all citizens.  Feel “free” to share your comments or thoughts below, we only ask that you remain civilized so the freedom of all commenters to engage in discussion is enhanced.
